About Red Apple Reading^®

Red Apple Reading^® was created in 2011 by founders Tammy and Jason Bennecke. The company was first a DBA of Cherry Valley Educational Products LLC, then in 2018 all assets were moved to the privately held corporation Red Apple Reading Inc. Both companies are registered in Montana, USA. Red Apple Reading^® has improved the literacy skills of over 50,000 children in the United States and 30 other countries.

Red Apple Reading’s mission is to help as many children as possible become literate to give them a chance for a better life. In addition to giving away thousands of free accounts for educators, Red Apple Reading^® has provided free family accounts to US military families and others in need around the globe.

The Red Apple Reading^® Program

Red Apple Reading^® is an award-winning early reading program designed by teachers for children ages 4 to 8. Animated video instruction and interactive activities engage young learners in a safe and wholesome digital environment. Three levels cover preschool to second grade fundamental reading skills including print concepts, phonological awareness, phonics, sight word recognition, fluency, and early reading comprehension. By explicitly teaching and practicing specific skills in an entertaining way, children move toward more proficient reading.
